Everything we do as a church—and the very reason we exist —
Is to proclaim and live out the good news of Jesus Christ: His love, His forgiveness, and His gift of eternal life.
More than anything else, we want you to know that God loves you and has a plan for your life!
Many people spend their lives trying to earn God’s approval by following rules, attending religious services, or simply trying to be good. But the truth is this: the only way to eternal life in heaven and a truly fulfilling life today is through a personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
1. God loves you.
Because of His great love, God desires that you have fellowship with Him.
(John 3:16; Ephesians 2:4–5)
2. You are a sinner.
All of us have sinned by disobeying God. Sin is choosing our own way instead of God’s way.
(Isaiah 53:6; Romans 3:10, 23)
3. Sin separates you from God.
Sin creates a barrier that keeps us from fellowship with God, who is holy. Without Christ, we face eternal separation from God in a place the Bible calls Hell.
(Isaiah 59:2; Romans 6:23)
4. You cannot save yourself.
No amount of good works, religious effort, or self-improvement can remove the barrier of sin.
We cannot earn salvation.
(Ephesians 2:8–9; Titus 3:5)
5. God sent His Son, Jesus, to save you.
What we could never do, Jesus did for us. He died on the cross, taking our punishment,
and rose from the dead to show His victory over sin and death. Through Him, the barrier is removed.
(Romans 5:8; 2 Corinthians 5:21; Romans 10:9)
6. You can receive Jesus through faith.
Faith means trusting fully in what Jesus has done—not in your own efforts.
Faith also involves repentance: turning from sin and turning toward Christ as Savior and Lord.
(John 14:6; Acts 16:31; Romans 10:9–10)
7. You can respond right now through prayer.
Prayer is simply talking to God from your heart. You can pray something like this:
“Lord Jesus, I know that I am a sinner and I need Your forgiveness. I believe that You died on the cross
and rose again for me. I turn from my sin and trust You alone as my Savior and Lord. Come into
my life and help me live for You. Amen.”
If this expresses the desire of your heart, God promises that you will be saved and become His child
(Romans 10:13).
